Well, if you're of the faint of heart, stop reading now, because the latest alleged viral practice is extremely cringeworthy, and the results are very dangerous. It all started when a woman who claims to be a blood tweeted about her concern that women were using vacuum hoses to suck out their period blood. There were 2 cases of this so far this week, and both women had to be admitted. Fuck, of course, is terrifying. And unsurprisingly, it is extremely dangerous.
While these women supposedly wanted to end their periods early, they ended up allegedly doing a lot of damage to themselves, and sent themselves into shock. The nurse revealed that things could have even gone teen lot worse than they already did.
Kirsten BechtelMD, a Yale Medicine pediatric emergency-medicine doctor and co-director of injury prevention talked to Cosmo about the danger of using a vacuum in your vagina, explaining that it could end up piercing your uterus. It's also important blood note that this practice would not even work in ending your period early because you can't remove the uterine lining that sheds while on your period, it happens naturally due to declines in hormone levels.
